Child Care Opportunities Resource Development Center offers trainings throughout Hancock and Washington counties as well as online.
Child Care Opportunities Resource Development Center offers a variety of trainings in Hancock and Washington counties. Maine Roads to Quality (MRTQ) Core Knowledge Trainings are offered on a regular basis. Not all trainings are offered every year, but we try to make sure that each training is offered at least once every two years. The RDC also offers a variety of “state approved’ and elective trainings to meet specific needs or to assist providers in improving the quality of their programs and moving up in Quality for ME.
Our trainings are offered for a nominal fee. MRTQ trainings must have at least six participants. Other trainings must have an enrollment large enough to support the cost of the training. Under enrolled trainings may be canceled.
DHHS State Approved Training: Trainings developed with State of Maine (DHHS) funding or by a recognized national or regional Early Childhood Education organization and delivered by a qualified MRTQ trainer. This training does not duplicate the Maine Roads to Quality Core Knowledge Training curricula.
