Child Care Opportunities Resource Development Center offers free technical assistance and consultation services to all child care providers in Hancock and Washington counties. Our trained staff are available to answer you questions and to assist you either by phone, email or by making a visit to your child care site.
In order to support quality, inclusive early care and education, technical assistance is available as a responsive collaborative process, provided upon request to individual early care and education programs. The technical assistance may include the program administrator, director, direct care staff, or family child care provider.
There are four levels of Technical Assistance:
- Telephone, mail and/or email assistance providing readily available resources to the child care provider;
- Providing individually researched resources;
- One time on site consultation
- Collaborative Consultation — Ongoing technical assistance provided on site with program administrators and staff or family child care provider. This service is available only to providers who have joined Quality for ME or who agree to join Quality for ME. Collaborative consultation is available by contacting Megan London, Early Childhood Consultant – meganl@childandfamilyopp.com
