 The
Child Care Opportunities, Resource Development Center (RDC) is a single
point of access for parents, child care providers and communities to
assist with child care needs in Hancock and Washington Counties. The RDC exists to
enhance and promote quality, affordable and accessible child care.
What does the RDC do? We offer information about locating child
care to meet the needs of families, information on how to choose
quality child
care and access financial assistance in paying for child care. We offer training, technical assistance,
newsletters, lending library and referrals to child care providers.
We promote public awareness of the importance of quality child care
and help employers meet the child care needs of their employees.
